The Great Transition
The "Biological Necessity" of endings. It is the pruning of the garden. It signifies a point of no return where the "old you" must be laid to rest to allow for the evolution of the "new you."
Decay. Clinging to a situation that has already died. It represents the "rot" that sets in when you refuse to allow a cycle to end. Fear of the void.
A necessary breakup or the "death" of an old, toxic dynamic within a relationship. Total transformation of the heart.
A "zombie relationship." Refusing to let go of an ex. Staying together "for the kids" or out of fear of being alone.
Quitting a job that no longer fits. The end of a major project. Total financial restructuring.
Staying in a soul-crushing career because you fear the "gap" in your resume. Financial stagnation caused by "holding on" to failing stocks or ideas.
Radical transformation (e.g., total diet overhaul). The "end" of a disease state.
Chronic issues that won't leave because you won't kill the habit that feeds them. Fear of aging.
